Course du Jour

About Course du Jour

I'm a cycling fan, and I was going crazy. I'd know a big race was on but not if it was on TV, on which channel or at what time. Finding out meant visiting dodgy insecure websites, checking race and broadcaster sites in several languages for every race. Course du Jour is the tool I wanted: one place that tells you where to watch live pro cycling, for all races, not just the big ones, and updated every morning.

More than the Grand Tours

Course du Jour follows the full UCI calendar, that's about 997 races a year across road, cyclocross and gravel, men's and women's, down to U23 and junior events. The smaller races other guides skip are here too. For each one you get the broadcaster or stream carrying it in your country, whether it's free or paid, and the start time. The listings draw on 81 broadcasters in 71 countries, from Eurosport, HBO Max and national free-to-air channels to streaming services like FloBikes, and even YouTube.

Keeping it right

Schedules are gathered every day from official broadcaster and race-organiser sources, then cross-checked. When two sources disagree, the broadcaster's schedule wins. I only list official broadcasters and rights-holder streams, no unauthorised restreams. The coverage data is refreshed daily, so what you see reflects the current week rather than a calendar published once and left to drift.

Who's behind it

Course du Jour is built and run by me, David Brabyn — a cycling fan based in New York City who builds things on the web for a living, mostly in cycling: sites for NSN Cycling Team, Tour de l'Avenir, Chronique du vélo and ANAPRC. I made the tool I kept wishing existed, and I maintain it myself. The site is public and the morning email is free, with no ads, in English, French, Spanish and Italian. If it saves you the daily search, you can help with the running costs by buying me a coffee.
