Frequently asked questions
- Where can I watch the UCI Road World Championships live?
- FloBikes streams every event in the United States and Canada, Stan Sport carries it in Australia, and Eurosport shows it in Europe with streaming through HBO Max. The schedule above is the reliable answer: it lists the broadcaster and start time for each event in your country, and it updates as more markets are confirmed.
- How to watch the UCI Road World Championships in the United States?
- FloBikes streams all thirteen events in the United States. Check the schedule above for each event's start time in your timezone.
- How to watch the UCI Road World Championships in Canada?
- FloBikes streams all thirteen events in Canada. The racing is in Montréal, so this is the rare Worlds run on local time for Canadian viewers: the elite road races start mid-morning Eastern.
- How to watch the UCI Road World Championships in Australia?
- Stan Sport carries the UCI Road World Championships in Australia. Confirmed listings so far cover the elite men's time trial, the mixed relay and the elite men's road race, and the schedule above shows the start time for each in your timezone. It fills out as Stan publishes the rest.
- How to watch the UCI Road World Championships in Europe?
- Eurosport carries the championships in Europe, with streaming through HBO Max, and the Spanish listings are already published: the elite men's time trial and both elite road races. European broadcasters tend to publish closer to the race than North American ones, so check the schedule above. It adds each market as it is confirmed.
- Is the UCI Road World Championships free to watch?
- Not in any market confirmed so far. FloBikes, Stan Sport, Eurosport and HBO Max all need a subscription. Any free-to-air listing is marked in the schedule above as soon as it is confirmed.
- What time does each event start?
- Every published start time is listed above and converted to your timezone. The racing is on Eastern time in Montréal, so European viewers get afternoon and evening starts rather than the mornings a European Worlds would bring. Broadcast coverage is a fixed window rather than the whole race, so the time you see is when the broadcast starts, not when the riders roll out.
- Can I subscribe to the whole World Championships for my preferred channel?
- Yes. Choose the channels you watch and subscribe once. Every event those channels carry lands in your calendar, and it keeps itself right as broadcast times are confirmed, so there is nothing to copy across each morning. Use the subscribe panel on this page.
About the broadcast
The UCI Road World Championships are run by the Union Cycliste Internationale, cycling's world governing body, and awarded to a host city rather than to a race organizer. The 2026 edition is in Montréal, Canada, from 20 to 27 September. Thirteen titles are decided over those eight days: road races and individual time trials for elite, under-23 and junior men and women, plus a mixed relay team time trial.
It is not a stage race, and nothing carries over from one day to the next. Each event is its own one-day championship on the same course, so there is no general classification and no daily rhythm to follow. The time trials run early in the week, the road races over the closing days, and the elite men's road race is last. Each winner wears the rainbow jersey in that discipline for the year.
One host feed serves every broadcaster, so the pictures are identical wherever you watch and only the commentary changes. Rights are sold market by market, and the elite road races are picked up far more widely than the junior and under-23 events. That is why the schedule above shows more channels on the closing weekend than at the start of the week.
